Reconstruction after breast surgery is an extremely important aspect of the recovery process. Breast reconstruction can be performed after total mastectomy, as well as after partial mastectomy (“lumpectomy&rdquo. And furthermore, breast reconstruction can be performed in an “immediate” setting (at the same time as the breast excision) as well as in a “delayed” setting (ranging from weeks to decades after the breast excision). And even more so, revision of breast reconstruction can be performed at any time, and can range from a minor modification, to a complete change to a different form of reconstruction. We are able to perform all forms of breast reconstruction, including tissue-based and implant-based approaches.
